The Story
We're back!! We had a blast filming, producing, editing and sharing Single, Taken, Other and we are making plans to do it bigger and better with season 2.
Taryn, Monica, Brittney and Cara are friends from college who have each other's backs. We take a look into their friendship as they tackle all the aspects of adulting. Their friendship will carry them through the ebb and flow of building their careers, as well as the ups and downs of defining their relationships. This season, we dive deeper into who they are individually and how that informs their relationships and choices.
Meet Our Cast
Taryn is back with a new groove! After Josh broke things off with her, she is determined to recommit herself to God and her goals. She's looking to elevate herself at work and be a more encouraging friend to her girls. Little does she know, a run in with a past love, will send her on a roll coaster of a relationship. Will spinning the block lead to true love or should the past remain where she left it?
Paul is everything Monica wants in a man but there is just something about Nick, she can't let go. Despite the ups and downs of their situationship, something keeps drawing her back. Her friends have given her all the advice they can, but Monica has some big decisions to make. Faced with the challenges of a new promotion and the struggles of self love, will she allow her feelings for Nick to get in the way of her new, healthy relationship with Paul?
Brittney's new motto - "Who needs love anyway. I'm doing me!" The news of Royce and Joy's relationship has Brittney questioning if she really wants one of her own. She's no longer dating with intentions of longevity but more so with the whim of having fun. But is this act of rebellion more about covering up her hurt? With a new styling opportunity at Flair, challenged by a direct superior, and a new budding relationship with Leon on the rise, Brittney will have to figure out her feelings, concerning Royce, and decide if it's simply time to move on.
Cara and Gary have settled into a cozy relationship. One where love and commitment resonates. She's finally on the brink of taking her charity organization to new heights. The only problem is the city is standing in her way. Not to mention, Gary drops a bomb on her when he accepts a job opportunity across the country. Can their love withstand long distance, especially with her new, hot lawyer around?

Why Us? Why Now?
We want to continue telling the story of Taryn, Monica, Brittney and Cara. It is important to have stories that showcase women, especially black women, as beautiful, vibrant, and human. We believe the stories of our characters will continue to resonate with people who find themselves trying to juggle it all.
We are in the pre-production phase, preparing for production. Raising funds will ensure we have what is needed for film equipment, locations, craft services and more. It is our promise to produce a quality product that is worthy of our audience's viewing. Once completed, our project will float the film circuit and land on YouTube for everyone's viewing. Your help will aid in our ability to continue our characters' stories.
Stretch Goals
Currently, we're in the process of gearing up for production. All contributions raised will go toward production and allowing us to create a project with quality and excellence.
If we raise 25K - we'll be able to put funds toward cast & crew and bring on more help for production.
If we raise 30K - we'll be able to put funds toward postproduction, film festivals and more!
