The Story
Our initial $5,000 goal is the absolute minimum we need to raise in order to begin production. With your support in surpassing this initial goal, we can raise the production level to afford better locations, more crew members, and better equipment. Help us bring this vision into reality!
❤︎LOGLINE❤︎
"Twin Flame" follows the story of a young woman named Ofelia who is at a crossroads in her relationship and resorts to paying a Psychic on Etsy to draw a picture of her soulmate. When the drawing looks like her ex, she confronts the psychic and, in turn, faces the real issues in her relationship.

❤︎STORY❤︎
This film is an exploration of the role of technology and social media in the context of a modern break-up story. Ofelia is constantly looking for answers outside of herself through technology, social media, mediumship, and even Zoom therapy. Like most of us, Ofelia is addicted to her screens, and in her case, it is preventing her from genuine self-reflection.

Ofelia's story begs the question that maybe the constant search for self-awareness is not as productive as it may seem and that perhaps clarity can come by simply putting down your phone and having a painstakingly honest conversation with your ex.

❤︎WHY NOW?❤︎
We believe "Twin Flame" has the power to resonate with audiences on a deeply personal level. It captures the struggles and anxieties of a generation caught in the web of digital distractions and examines the consequences of relying on technology to navigate our emotions. By supporting this film, you become an integral part of this exploration, enabling us to bring this story to the screen.

We are making this film independently and are asking for contributions, big or small, to help bring this project to life. Our team has extensive experience working on low-budget productions, and much of our crew is working for free to make this story happen. To bring this vision into a reality, we still need funds for location fees, equipment rentals, production design/props, food & craft services, and post-production costs.
❤︎WHAT NEXT?❤︎
We are asking for contributions to move forward with important decisions regarding what locations we can afford and what sort of equipment will be doable with the overall budget. Our script is written, most of the crew is finalized, and most locations are apartments that friends, family, and crew generously are donating. Now we need your help to make this dream become reality!
