Hey, I'm Erin!
Los Angeles, California
I'm an award-winning documentary filmmaker originally from the Pacific Northwest, currently residing in East LA. Over the past decade, my non-fiction work has explored a variety of subcultures from the fundmentalist Mormons to Satanists, as well as issues such as racial injustice, LGBTQ+ rights, incarceration, opiate addiction and sexual abuse. In 2011, my first producing role took me to Sundance with the HBO-feature documentary film HOT COFFEE, which was called a “stunning debut” by the Washington Post, and won the grand jury prize at the 2011 Seattle International Film Festival.
As a lifelong horror fan, I knew my first foray into narrative filmmaking had to be horror as it’s a genre I love both for the fun of it, and for its thought-provoking social commentary.
