Kim Hornsby is a USA Today Bestselling Author with sixteen published novels. She took up screenwriting when her second novel, a bestseller, went under contract to be optioned. With eighteen scripts in her portfolio and over thirty contest placements, Kim hasn't looked back. She teaches the adaptation from book to script nation wide and recently won the Audience Favorite Award for her Short Script Dream Jumper at the Seattle Film Summit. Her award-winning Short, CHAT, has been recognized at Austin Film Festival, Phoenix Film Festival and several others and is slated to film in the Spring of 2022 in Seattle.
Filming CHAT will fullfill a lifelong dream of Kim's to be involved in one of her scripts as a producer after having a theatrical production company in both Hawaii and Canada. Kim has several features optioned and hopes to see one of those get to the first day of principle photographry but in the meantime, her stunning Short Script debut, CHAT, will be produced and head out to the festival circuit.
