Most of the time a dramatic series is intended purely for entertainment, we hope our series also will prevent veteran suicides. A brotherhood of veterans and their families will help write these stories.

The Story

PURPOSE

BROTHERHOOD

SISTERHOOD

EQUALS STRENGTH TO SURVIVE!

"Mission: TRANSITION CONDITION"

...is about entertaining audiences while exposing veterans to diverse modes of healing from PTSD. Glenn Towery, the writer/producer has dedicated this screenplay to finding ways that veterans can heal.

“A dramatic television series inspired by the hidden

battle facing America’s veterans.”

After 8 years in combat, retired US Army Officer, Lt. Colonel "David Smucker" knows how to survive war.

What he is struggling to understand is how to survive re-entry into civilian life. "David Smucker" has had success as the CEO of a Long Corporation after his discharge, yet his marriage is collapsing,
his sense of purpose is unclear and his famous sense of humor is gone. The brotherhood that once kept him alive as a soldier has disappeared yes its true David is worried because many of the men and women he served with are succumbing to PTSD in various terrible ways.

Late one night, about 18 months ago a veteran and friend calls him, SPARROW, his staff sergeant from his old army days during the Afghanistan war. That phone call became the catalyst that changes everything for David. Sparrow, one of the bravest clear headed soldiers David has ever had the pleasure of serving with is falling apart. David tries to reassure Sparrow that everything will work out but he knows in his heart that it may not. After the phone call David decides he must take action.

Over the next 18 months David Smucker writes out plan to create a facility that offers treatments free of charge for any veteran who seeks treatment there, treatments to properly transition veterans back into the civilian world. David has a theory, that each soldier has lost something important in their development when they come home and he plans to use the Arts and a combination of acceptable practices as well as some new and innovative therapies to help veterans overcome the worst effects of PTSD.

David sinks his entire life savings into the creation of the facility and he names it: Mission: TRANSITION CONDITION , a place to treat veterans suffering with the PTSD. He hires the best therapists and professionals that he can find. Professionals with experience who know how to combat the invisible war many veterans face after service: isolation, identity loss, and trauma. These dedicated men and women work tirelessly with veterans everyday to help them find the joy again in life restoring their purpose after the uniform comes off.

But this is not only a story about suffering, it is also a story about overcoming and winning the war against anxiety, depression and paranoia . This story is about brotherhood, redemption, and finding a reason to continue life. As a series, Glenn Towery believes, television can possibly reach millions of veterans and their family members who may finally understand what a veteran goes through when they suffer with PTSD and ways created to deal with that internal pain.

"MISSION: TRANSITION CONDITION" will be produced in Central Texas, primarily in Austin ,Round Rock and Georgetown, Texas. A multi-million dollar facility has been donated to Glenn Towery, to shoot the first pilot episode of our series. We are not a nonprofit corporation, but we act like one. The funds that we receive will be used to make the best series pilot possible.

About This Team

MISSION: TRANSITION CONDITION

A DRAMATIC TELEVISION ABOUT HEALING VETERANS

Thank you to our current production Team. Many of you I just added to my team because I know you to be kind professional and resourceful people. If you cannot do anything but tell your friends to support this project, that is enough We have set a course to start filming our Pilot for television on May 16, 2026, the 250th Anniversary of America on ARMED FORCES DAY!. These are the essential talented and experienced members of our Production and Post Production team that many of whom are family and friends. Many of them have some experience in filming but most don't. I have selected them because they are trustworthy and the kind of people I like to work with from experience. Our mission, is to complete the filming of at minimum the pilot show for

MISSION:TRANSITION CONDITION this year and if possible complete two more episodes.

Each person on our team is either a veteran, a veterans family member or a Patriot (a person who cares for veterans), who has been working to assist veterans and their families in some capaty

Our principal organizer, besides myself, is "MARCUS HOBBS" who has brought several of these wonderfully experienced veterans & filmmakers to our team. Hopefully this list will continue to grow. I thank each member for what they are bringing for the production of

MISSION: TRANSITION CONDITION.

We look forward to working together to create a series that can both entertain the public and inform our nations veterans.
