The Cold Open – A Message from Koji
Last year, we started Elucidity as a question: In a world of constant surveillance, is our inner world still our own? We didn't have a giant studio or a marketing budget. It was just me, Arsal, Arianna, and Emily, obsessed with a story that felt too urgent to keep to ourselves. Because of you, that "small" story hit #1 on Apple Podcasts.
But the story isn't finished. In Season 2, the stakes move from our pockets to our children’s classrooms. The "Elucidity" protocol has evolved, and we’re moving from a personal thriller to a full-scale battle for the next generation's free will. We’re ready to tell this story, but we’re doing it on our own terms.
The 4 Ws – Why We’re Staying Independent
Why Us? We are a team of friends who happen to be obsessed with audio. Arsal is stepping behind the director’s chair this season to bring a raw, cinematic edge to every scene. Arianna and Emily have spent months writing scripts that are even more twisted than the first. We aren’t a corporation; we’re a crew.
Why This & Why Now? Every day, we see headlines about AI and data privacy that look exactly like our Season 1 scripts. The world is catching up to the fiction. We need to tell the second half of this story now, while we still have the chance to spark a conversation about where our technology is taking us.
Why You? We’ve had offers to take Elucidity to larger networks, but we said no. We want to keep the "Truth" unfiltered. That means we don't have a corporate safety net—we only have you. This campaign isn't just about "buying a product"; it's about keeping independent storytelling alive.
Section 3: Context – The Promise
Where We Stand The scripts are done. The cast is ready. But to make this sound the way you deserve to hear it, we need to do it right.
Our Roadmap:
- The Goal ($1,500): This goes 100% to our voice actors. They are the soul of the show, and we refuse to ask them to work for free.
- The Stretch ($2,000): This gets Arsal into the studio. Having our director in the room instead of over a Zoom call is the difference between a good show and a masterpiece.
How You Can Join Us:
