Seed&Spark Alumni at the 2021 BronzeLens Film Festival!

The BronzeLens Film Festival not only showcases the films of and provides networking opportunities for Atlanta's emerging filmmakers, but also promotes Atlanta, Georgia as the film hub for people of color.

We couldn't be more excited for the Seed&Spark crowdfunding alumni officially selected for the 2021 BronzeLens Film Festival. Tickets for the August 17-22 festival are available at bronzelens.com


AWARE | Drew Tank Garrett Bringing awareness to the 65,000 black women missing in America.

Black Lady Goddess | Chelsea Odufu | Black Lady Goddess is a satirical afro-futuristic series set in the year 2040 when humans on earth now have a connection to their creator in outer space. It follows the life of a young activist by the name of Ifeoma Johnson who is coming into her own in a time when humans have not only found out that God is a Black Woman, but after reparations have been issued in the amount of $455,000 to each person of African descent. 

Enough RoomChristianna Carmine | A successful Latina in Los Angeles encounters assumptive bosses, racist neighbors, and a white savior roommate just before a first date — then discovers her potential partner hates Mexicans.


Joyriders | Raymond Carr | Three rowdy teens from the inner city stumble upon a dying alien who fuses their minds together enabling them to fly its spacecraft. Now, they must decide to use their new discovery to help the world that's never cared about them, or escape into the unknown.

Ms/Manage | Caralene Robinson, Michael Pinckney, Angele Cooper, Maurice Elrod | On the surface Skye has it all: a successful career and a wonderful personal life with partner Lark. But lately, navigating the challenges of being Black in corporate America is starting to grate on her soul. As she attempts to oversee the launch that will define her career while preparing to start a family, Skye must decide if “having it all” is worth it.

My Own Mecca | Alba Roland Mejia | My Own Mecca is a story of a young man, Dre, and his relationship with his vessel. He learns how he must contort into different versions of himself in order to safely navigate through his world.



Prepared | Erika Kelley and Shandrea Evans | When a young woman struggling with low confidence decides to follow the guidance of a popular self-help book, she makes a bold decision towards manifesting her dreams.

Roads to Olympia | Ramazan NanayevIn Russia, Roma embodies the ideal Olympic decathlete. He fights to keep a double life hidden from his father, a politician supporting the anti-gay law, and a nation seeped in homophobia. Muna, a Saudi student with a desire to play football, lives in an Islamic country where some consider women to be indecent for participating in sports. Manuel, a Brazilian wrestler living in the slums of Rio de Janeiro, struggles to get his mother out of poverty by making it to the Games.

White Dove | Delilah Andre | White Dove is a woman in the Wild West raised by the Pauite Tribe, fighting for justice in a corrupt world on her quest to avenge her family's murder.
